We all love curling up with a warm cup of Healtheries tea during the winter months, but how can we enjoy our favourite flavours of tea during summer? Check out a variety of ways to use our teas cold!

Refreshing Drinks and Smoothies

  • Fruity Iced Tea
Combine 1L of cooled brewed Hawkes Bay Nectarine Tea (made with 4 tea bags) with 4 slices of orange and 2 slices of lemon in a jug and leave for a few hours for the flavours to infuse. You also may like our summer punch or iced tea recipes
  • Chia Drink
Add 3 Tbsp of Chia Seeds to 1 cup of brewed Tropical Tea and place in the fridge to cool for a few hours or overnight. Mix your cooled chia tea with 1 cup of lemonade, juice or coconut water and enjoy.
  • Iced Tea Smoothie
Brew your favourite fruit or berry flavoured tea and pour into an ice tray, leaving overnight to freeze. Add 4 tea ice cubes to a blender with ¼ cup of citrus or berry fruits, 100ml of water and 1 scoop of Naturally Slim LO Carb High Protein Vanilla powder and blend until smooth.
  • Jazz up your water
Brew 1-2 cups of your favourite tea and allow to cool, transfer into your water bottle and top up with water - this is great for people who don’t like water on its own. You can also add frozen tea ice cubes to a glass or jug of water at home.

Desserts and Treats

  • Superfruits Sorbet
Brew one Superfruits Tea bag in ¼ cup of boiling water, removing the tea bag after 3-5 minutes. Transfer the tea to the fridge to cool until you are ready to make your sorbet. Add 2 cups of mixed berries (we used blueberries, boysenberries and raspberries) to a food processor along with the cooled tea, 4 Tbsp of sugar (or you could try stevia granules) and a tiny pinch of salt. Process until completely smooth, then place in the freezer for 2 hours when it will be ready to eat. If you freeze the sorbet for longer, pull it out of the freezer 10-20 minutes before serving. Serves 4 - great for the family for a special treat.
  • Poached Fruit
Soak your favourite fruit in brewed tea to add guilt-free sweetness.
