Healtheries Ground Chia Superfood Blend Blueberry & Blackcurrant

Product Overview

Why use Healtheries Ground Chia Superfood Blend?

Healtheries Ground Chia Superfood Blend combines the raw goodness of Ground Chia Seeds with Blueberries and Blackcurrants. Chia Seeds are nature's ancient superfood and contain a powerful combination of Omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fibre and essential minerals, including Magnesium and Calcium. Berries are well known for their antioxidant properties and delicious taste. Together they are the perfect way to incorporate these nutrients into your everyday diet.

Omega 3 fatty acids are essential to source from the diet because our bodies are unable to produce this healthy fat. It is also important to include good food sources of dietary fibre to support bowel regularity. The minerals calcium and magnesium are needed to support the structure of teeth and bones - plus magnesium also plays an important role in normal nerve and muscle function.

Healtheries Ground Chia Blueberry & Blackcurrant is perfect for adding extra nutrition and a touch of natural sweetness to Smoothies, Cereal, Yoghurt and Baking. For more ideas, see our directions for use, recipes and e-cookbook

Directions for Use

  • Add 1 Tablespoon of Chia to your smoothie, cereal, or cooked oats for a nutrient boost at breakfast.
  • Add 1 Tablespoon of Chia to plain unsweetened natural yoghurt to add omega 3 fatty acids, fibre, calcium, magnesium and a touch of sweetness
  • Add Chia to your baking recipes or try it in pancakes as a way to add natural sweetness and extra nutrients
  • Use Chia within the topping of your favourite berry crumble recipe or within the mixture as a natural thickener
  • Chia absorbs water and will thicken to a soft gel the longer they are soaked. Mix 1 Tablespoon of Chia in a glass of water or cooled fruit tea for a natural chia smoothie to help fill you up between meals or snacks.
  • To make Chia Juice, soak 3 Tablespoons of Chia in 1 Cup of water overnight. Add 1 Cup of juice in the morning and mix. This is a great way for the kids to enjoy Chia.
  • The options are endless when it comes to Chia, you can even make Chia Jam!
