Healtheries Ground Chia Superfood Blend combines the raw goodness of Ground Chia Seeds with Cacao and Coconut. Chia Seeds are nature's ancient superfood and contain a powerful combination of Omega-3 fatty acids, dietary fibre and essential minerals, including Magnesium and Calcium. Cacao is well known for its antioxidant properties while Coconut is rich in dietary fibre and both have a delicious taste. Together they are the perfect way to incorporate these nutrients into your everyday diet.
 
Omega 3 fatty acids are essential to source from the diet because our bodies are unable to produce this healthy fat. It is also important to include good food sources of dietary fibre to support bowel regularity. The minerals calcium and magnesium are needed to support the structure of teeth and bones - plus magnesium also plays an important role in normal nerve and muscle function.

Directions for Use

  • Add 1 Tablespoon of Chia to your smoothie, cereal, or cooked oats for a nutrient boost at breakfast.
  • Add 1 Tablespoon of Chia to plain unsweetened natural yoghurt to add omega 3 fatty acids, fibre, calcium, magnesium and a touch of delicious cacao and coconut.
  • Add Chia to your baking recipes or try it in healthier for you pancakes as a way to add extra nutrients and a hint of cacao and coconut for the adults to enjoy and so the kids won't notice.
  • Chia absorbs liquid and will thicken to a soft gel the longer they are soaked. Mix 1 Tablespoon of Chia in a glass of your favourite milk for a natural chia drink to help fill you up between meals or snacks - wait 10 minutes for the mixture to thicken, enjoy, and let the Chia work it's magic.
