Why use Apple Cider Vinegar?

It may be an oldie but it’s a goodie! Apple Cider Vinegar is an excellent great tasting tonic used for a wide variety of health issues. Whether you are trying to detoxify your body, support weight management, help your joints or your digestion, this tonic is ideal.

Made from sun ripened NZ grown apples, which are crushed and fermented, it is rich in minerals. If you’re worried about taste don’t despair – simply add some honey to taste or blend it into salad dressings and sauces.

Allergen Information

  • This product is not pasteurised, however it is heated to a temperature that destroys any further bacteria in the product. This heat treatment means the product will not go off.

Health Maintenance:

  • Add 1-2 teaspoons of Healtheries Apple Cider Vinegar to a glass of water. Mix in honey to taste. Take first thing in the morning and also sip a glass with meals throughout the day.

Sore Throats: 

  • Apple Cider Vinegar can be used as a gargle for sore throats. Add 1 teaspoon to a glass of lukewarm water and gargle 2 mouthfuls every hour. Swallow the liquid after gargling.

Skin: 

  • For skin complaints and to help relieve thrush, add ½ a cup of cider vinegar to bath water and soak for 15 minutes. Cider vinegar helps to relieve itchy skin and balances the acidity of vaginal membranes and may help to counteract the effects of excess yeast and candida problems.

Infections: 

  • The following remedy is helpful to assist in reducing infections: 
  • Mix the following in a blender:
    1 Cup Healtheries Apple Cider Vinegar
    250g manuka honey
    8 cloves peeled raw garlic
    Mix on high speed for 60 seconds. Pour mixture into a glass container. Seal and leave in the refrigerator for 5 days. Normal dosage is 2 teaspoons in a glass of warm water or fruit juice (apple, pineapple or grape) taken before breakfast daily.
  • Store in a cool dark place in an airtight container below 30 deg C. 
  • Due to the natural processing of this product there may be naturally occurring sedimentation. Shake before use.
