Blackcurrant & Boysenberry Spiced Tea

Blackcurrant & Boysenberry Spiced Tea

An invigorating and luscious blend of subtly sweet berry goodness, with fresh berries, cinnamon and soda water for a bit of added sparkle. Serve over ice for a cooling and refreshingly healthy summer treat.

  • 2 cups freshly boiled water
  • 2 cups soda water

  • 4 Healtheries Blackcurrant with Apple flavoured tea bags

  • 3 cinnamon sticks

  • 1 cup of boysenberries (fresh or frozen)

  • Ice to serve

Method

  1. Pour the freshly boiled water over the tea bags and leave to infuse for 3- 5 minutes before removing. Leave the water to cool (you can add ice cubes to make this happen quicker).
  2. Place the cinnamon sticks and boysenberries in the base of a 1.5 litre jug, add the cooled tea and then the soda water.
  3. Leave to infuse.
  4. To serve, pour into your favourite glasses topped with ice and enjoy!

Tip

Make sure the berries don’t go to waste! You can scoop them and add them to your drink, or save them until the end and enjoy some delicious tea soaked fruit.
