Following a gluten-free diet is much easier these days. Many foods are now labelled as 'gluten-free', or carry the crossed grain logo which means that the food is suitable for Coeliacs to eat.

We have put together a list of healthy gluten-free snacks you can enjoy in between meals. Keep these on hand in your hand bag, back pack, office drawer or car so you aren't stuck without a gluten-free option when you get hungry!

Fresh fruit

An oldie but a goodie! Full of vitamins, minerals and that all important dietary fibre.

Pottle of Anchor Symbio Yoghurt

A excellent source of Calcium and Vitamin D with added probiotics to support digestive health.

Healtheries Grain Wafers topped with avocado & tomato

Top two Healtheries Grain Wafers with something tasty. Try avocado, sliced tomato and freshly chopped coriander.

Grain wafers are made from gluten-free grains, and the avocado provides healthy monounsaturated fats that are perfect for healthy skin and a healthy heart.

Handful of tamari roasted nuts & seeds

Nuts & seeds are naturally gluten-free and a rich source of protein, fibre and unsaturated fatty acids. Try roasting different combinations such as unsalted almonds, cashews, walnuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds and/or pumpkin seeds with a dash of tamari for added flavour.

TIP. Abundant Earth Tamari is gluten-free.

Rice Crackers & hummus

Try 10 rice crackers (Fantastic & Sakata are two gluten-free brands) with a delicious hummus such as one from the Turkish Kitchen range. Add extra goodness with sliced vegetables like capcisum, celery or carrot. Hummus is a great plant-based source of fibre & protein to keep you feeling fuller for longer.
