Magnesium

Magnesium is necessary for almost every major biological process in the body, including muscle and nervous system function. Often called the ‘relaxation mineral’, magnesium deficiency can render our bodies unable to relax properly, leading to sleep and relaxation problems. Stress and worry can also increase the body’s need for magnesium.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha supports the body during times of stress as well as supporting sleep and relaxation. It is an ‘adaptogenic’ herb which means it can help the body cope better when under stress and also has a balancing effect on mood.

Passion flower

This herb is used to help support those with difficulty sleeping and restlessness. Traditionally it was used it to support those who had physical conditions with a psychological or emotional component (eg. a tummy upset caused by stress or worry). It’s gentle calming and relaxing qualities make it ideal for supporting healthy sleep patterns.

Lemon balm

Traditionally used to help calm and relax the nervous system.
