Crunchy Chocolate Cubes

Looking for a healthier chocolate treat or dessert option? We've got a portion controlled way to enjoy chocolate with the bonus of popped rice and chia seeds for a crunchy indulgence

  • Healtheries Sugar-Free Dark Chocolate Classic bars 
  • Healtheries No-Added-Sugar Milk Chocolate bars
  • 3/4 cup rice bubbles
  • 2 Tbsp of Healtheries Ground Chia
  • 1 ice cube tray

*For a gluten free version, choose gluten free rice pops or rice flakes. Excess consumption may have a laxative effect.


  1. Break bars into individual pieces and melt chocolate in a saucepan over a low heat, or in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time until melted.
  2. Once melted, allow the mixture to cool before adding the rice pops and ground chia, mix to combine.
  3. Transfer tablespoons of the mix evenly into the ice cube tray and place in the fridge until set. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Serving Suggestions

Transfer cubes into mini cupcake holders or serve on a tray for special occasions. You can easily flavour your chocolate cubes by adding peanut butter, diced hazelnut and vanilla essence, strawberries pureed with reduced fat cream cheese, or shredded coconut.
